The recent ASCDI meeting in London was well attended. Of particular note was the launch of the ASCDI anti-counterfeit policy, which was very well presented by Joe Marion. As well as the MTech update on the trademark case they are disputing with Sun/Oracle. Harvey Stringfellow of Hill Dickinson, and Howard Lawton of MTech gave a brilliant outline of events to date with this case. With publications from the USA to Europe covering this case, it was wonderful to hear additional information and the questions from members.
