Former Royal Navy Officer Beki Lancaster has set sail on a new career with ICP Networks.

The former Training Management Officer has joined the networking and IT specialists as Operations Manager.

Beki has more than 20 years experience in the Navy including time on HMS Illustrious, on exchange with Royal New Zealand Navy and serving as a United Nations Military Observer in Sierra Leone.

She will now work with the ICP Networks team as they look to expand their European horizons and build on a hugely successful first decade.

Beki, said: “I feel extremely lucky to have found such a great little company to work for. Not only are they the friendliest bunch to work with (and they like food as much as I do!), the Company’s values really resonate with me – excellence in customer service and a desire to ensure there is quality in everything they do.

“The fact that I live only 10 minutes away – oh, and the fact I work in the greenest IT Headquarters in the UK – really is the cherry on the top.”

Beki moved to Poynton in Cheshire from the South coast to relocate with her husband and two young boys from the South coast of England.

ICP Networks MD Matt Archer added: “We are delighted to welcome Beki to ICP Networks. She is vastly experienced and has a truly impressive CV but more importantly a tremendous personality that fits perfectly with the close-knit family environment we have created at ICP Networks.”

Beki is the first addition to the ICP Networks team since the IT specialists announced their new £5 million funding program with HSBC. The financial package will allow ICP Networks to seek European expansion plans and extend their global horizons.
