Job Profile

Reporting to the Sales Director working as part of a close knit sales team you will be focussed on selling pre-owned and refurbished networking, server and storage hardware and services from leading manufacturers.

Targeting new and existing end clients in the public and private sector you will be selling products from our inventory in addition to working directly with key suppliers in a B2B model.

You will be managing deals and projects from enquiry stage to fulfilment achieving maximum customer satisfaction throughout. You will need to identify, secure and maintain long term profitable business opportunities and meet/exceed individual targets.

Essential Technical Skills and experience required.

  • Minimum 2 years experience of selling, in particular Cisco Hardware market essential.
  • Solid understanding of Cisco hardware essential.
  • Technically proficient when communicating with C level professionals.
  • Experience of selling services and maintenance contracts.

Desirable Technical Skills and experience.

  • Experience of e-commerce markets.
  • Experience in selling hardware to Cisco competitors such as Avaya, Blue Coat, F5, Sun, Nokia, EMC, NetApp etc.
  • Experience of manufacturers remarketing initiatives.
  • Experience of purchasing and inventory management.
  • Experience of managing and developing relationships within the data centre markets.

Soft Skills required.

  • Conscientious, ethical and honest with a keen eye for detail.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and responsible when working to targets.
  • Strong professional image, confident and engaging when promoting the company brand and presenting to clients.

Location

Based from our award winning green offices in Poynton Cheshire the role will require some travel to meet with new and existing clients. Attendance at trade shows and functions will be required throughout the year.

Due to the constant communication within the sales team the successful candidate will need to be based in the office therefore you should live within a commutable distance.

Salary & Commission
