Check Point IP Appliances, Formerly Nokia Networks IP Appliances

If the New School is CP or Check Point, then the ol Skool is Nokia Networks? Don’t get me started…  🙂   There have been branding changes, part number changes, and model changes.  Easy to keep up for all of us right?  Well, not exactly.   Below is a url to the current Check Point products.

To give you an idea the current IP697, IP2457, IP297 are very closely linked to the IP690 – IP695, IP2450 – IP2455, IP290 – IP295.

ARVE Error: id and provider shortcodes attributes are mandatory for old shortcodes. It is recommended to switch to new shortcodes that need only url

The New Checkpoint parts that start with the prefix CPAP can be found here.   Easy only 3 part number or models, and only two manufactures per appliance.

The same initial confusion is true with the Network Interface Modules or NIF Cards part number matrix.  No need to pull your hair out, we have done that ourselves 🙂   If you have any questions on the Nokia Networks legacy appliances, or the Check Point appliances feel free to give us a shout at ICPNetworks.co.uk  +44-1625-538-660  and we will be pleased to guide you through the product range(s) to help you find what you are searching for, and hopefully save you a headache.

Until next time,

The ICPnetworks team
