ICP Networks were delighted to support the CITC ‘Blues On The Green’ Golf Day.

Businesses from the Greater Manchester area combined to raise more than £35,000 during the event held at Mottram Hall Golf Club.

Funds raised during the CITC golf day, now in its fourth year, will be used to provide football coaching for local children for the coming season.

Funds

ICP Networks MD Matt Archer said: “Once again it was a fantastic event, it is such a worthy cause and it is a great way to raise funds.

“I wish our golf had been of a slightly higher quality but we had a lot of fun and it was good to see a few old friends.

“This is the fourth year we have supported the CITC Blues on the Green event though we are clearly not getting any better!

“Still, as ever, the CITC team and staff at Mottram worked extremely hard to ensure the day was a success and we look forward to next year.”

ICP Networks have been supporting CITC for more than four years.

The Cheshire based IT and networking specialists have sponsored a transit van and mini bus that enables the CITC team to work all over the Greater Manchester area.

CITC, or City in The Community foundation, are celebrating their 30th anniversary. They provide support and education to thousands of youngsters across the Greater Manchester area.

The Blues on The Green Day, hosted by Alex Williams MBE, included the popular ‘Beat The Pro’ on the 11th with Sophie Walker on hand to show the amateurs just how it should be done and a number of former City players.

Special guests including Manchester City’s Chief Commercial and Operating Officer Tom Glick, Brian Marwood and Danny Wilson held a Q&A with the players after an evening dinner and prize giving to provide a fitting end to a perfect day.
