When offering kit to us, please take a little time, first to ascertain exactly what you have. It is important that we know the exact spec. Eg the full part number , not just the model or series number. Also If we don’t know what you have then it is difficult for us to offer a fair price.

Prior to sending your valuable items to us please take time to package securely and clearly label. We strongly advise using plenty of the correct protective materials to make your goods safe to ship. A few pounds now can save a lot in future. You will find it very difficult to get compensation from the couriers for goods damaged in transit. If they are damaged then they are of no use to either party. Ask yourself, If the items are not in as good a condition as you would like to receive them, then please make them safe and re wrap.

Remember ICP Ltd will not accept any damaged goods.

If you are unsure of the best method, please speak to your contact at ICP for advice.
Please enclose with the items, any user logins and passwords, this will help speed up the testing process and allow prompt payment.

Upon Arrival

All items are fully tested to ensure correct functionality. Numbers are checked for integrity. Your invoice will then be passed to our accounting department for prompt payment. Let us know whether you prefer cheque or Bank Transfer. Either way don’t forget to supply the payment details.

In our opinion the best kind of recycling is when the item is re-used rather than “buried thoughtfully” Our prime aim is to refurbish as much equipment as possible allowing it to be re-used. All equipment received by us goes through the following processes.

• ASSET TAGGING
  We interrogate the equipment and investigate the serial numbers to establish the authenticity of the item, and that it matches the manufacturers original specification, in the current climate of Chinese counterfeits, you can rely on us to guarantee the authenticity of all our products.
• TESTING
  Each item is thoroughly bench tested in our static free laboratory. You can be sure that there will be no DOA items at that critical point of installation.
• DEFECT FREE
  We ensure all items are defect free. Any problems are dealt with to the highest specification of the original equipment manufacturer. Only the highest quality components are used for long life operation.
• SANITISATION OF FIRMWARE AND SOFTWARE
  We ensure that all items are data cleansed and password cleared where necessary and that any hard disks are data wiped. This protects you from unwanted data that could fall foul of the data protection laws.
• SANITISATION OF HARDWARE
  Each item is individually cleaned inside and out. Our units will look smart and reflect a tidy installation
• BAGGING
  Our state of the art packaging equipment allows us to safely and sturdily protect even the largest and most awkward packages.
• FINAL PACKAGING
  We box all our items in sturdy boxes, to above postal standards, packed with air and foam bags to make sure you receive the refurbished items in fully working order.
• STORAGE
  Our 10,000 sq ft clean storage facility means we can keep our refurbished stock in ideal conditions.
• WARRANTY
  All our refurbished hardware carries an unconditional 90 day RTB warranty.

Any equipment that fails the above tests will be disposed of to W.E.E.E. standards
