Manchester City Football Club have literally parked  the ICP Networks sponsored bus and transit van at The Etihad.

But before anyone accused the Premiership champions of turning to negative tactics in their bid to defend the title they won last May their work this time is all in the name of charity.

City In The Community have now moved to the City@Home offices at The Etihad and that means their fleet of vehicles, sponsored by ICP Networks, have pride of place at the magnificent stadium.

CITC work with thousands of youngsters across the Greater Manchester area every year providing support in a number of areas including football, health and education and the vehicles – two mini-buses and a transit van – are crucial for their work.

They travel to schools and community projects around the area transporting both vital equipment, teachers, coaches and of course children.

Support

ICP Networks MD Matt Archer, said: “We are very proud to support the CITC Foundation, their team provide absolutely vital work in supporting children and young adults in the Greater Manchester area.

“We agreed to work with CITC for four years by providing them with the fleet of vehicles they need to ensure their work continues to help to change the lives of young people in the region.

“The work of the CITC team is so important that Manchester City have donated the entire ground floor of the City@Home building at the entrance to The Etihad to their work with the fleet of vehicles proudly parked for the supporters to see as they enter the stadium.

“We think the vehicles look stunning at the front of the Etihad, maybe visiting teams will take note as they arrive that City can literally park the bus on the pitch too if they like to keep teams out in their quest to retain the title.”
